How Kids Can Practice Sustainability
- Save Energy – Turn off lights, TVs, and computers when you’re not using them. This saves electricity and helps reduce pollution from power plants.
- Save Water – Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth and take shorter showers so we don’t waste water.
- Reduce Waste – Use reusable lunch containers and water bottles so less trash goes to landfills.
- Plant and Care for Nature – Plant trees, flowers, or vegetables and help them grow. Plants give us oxygen, food, and homes for animals.
- Recycle and Reuse – Give unwanted things a second life instead of throwing them away.
When kids practice sustainability, they help protect the environment—the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we live on. That means cleaner neighborhoods, healthier animals, and a happier Earth.
